Junior Buyer Worcestershire – 4 days in office £25,000 – £32,000 doe Pitch is delighted to be supporting an award-winning business operating at the heart of the British design industry on a rare opportunity within the Midlands. Our client designs their products and works with manufacturing partners across Europe and the Far East to produce premium, cutting edge pieces. Driven by trends within the fashion industry, they have several ranges, premium licensed brands and own brands. They are now seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team based in Worcestershire and support their ongoing growth. This role sits within the product team and works closely with the supply and marketing teams. It requires someone with an eye for exceptional design and the ability to be conceptual whilst sticking to demanding briefs. Key duties will include: Overseeing product development for a portfolio of own brand and licensed products, including an element of design where possible. Attending major European trade shows to carry out trend and market research whilst also researching competitors. Managing critical path and delivery schedules for new products. Regularly liaising with manufacturing partners to identify materials needed and negotiate on prices. Regular liaison key stakeholders inside and outside of the business. Product administration, stock monitoring and developing POS material. Identification and interpretation of trends. Analysing range performance and commercial value. You could be a recent graduate who had a placement year working in fashion design/buying/product development or someone with a couple of year’s experience post-degree and looking for the next step up in career. It is essential that you demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong writing and numerical skills, an eye for detail and a creative flair.
