I'm delighted to be working in partnership with a leading West Midlands based agency that's looking for a superstar Social Media Director to lead and grow its established social division. This highly regarded agency has a fantastic culture, broad client mix and is offering a fantastic opportunity for a social media expert to join them in a role which allows the successful candidate the opportunity to develop and grow their own division and team, leading on a range of high profile B2B and consumer brands. This business prides itself on its client relationships and its reputation within the industry is fantastic. They offer a competitive salary along with a hybrid approach to office working. The chance to be part of the agency's senior leadership team and an opportunity to come in and really make this role your own.
Within this role you'll:
- Be the strategic lead, working cross-functionally to come up with social campaigns that make people stop scrolling and create engagement.
- Get involved in content planning, taking your overarching social strategy and working with the team to create impactful content calendars and plans.
- Be involved in new business pitches as well as focused on commercially growing existing accounts organically.
We're looking for a candidate who:
- Is a highly creative social specialist with experience leading on social strategy within the agency space.
- Has a strong B2B (or mixed portfolio) social media background and a highly creative approach.
- Is a great manager, able to motivate, develop and lead a team effectively.
