We work on a lot of Account Director roles, and many job descriptions tend to sound very similar, which is exactly why Digital Glue’s stood out. The team is looking for an Account Director who can truly lead. Lead strategy. Lead a team. Lead by example. And deliver world-class work.
To be considered, you’ll need a strong grounding across PR, social, and content, along with a solid understanding of digital PR and the ever-evolving performance marketing landscape. You’ll be someone who can naturally bridge gaps across wider teams and bring integrated thinking to every client challenge.
If successful, you’ll take ownership of the PR division, drive and evolve client relationships across integrated campaigns whilst maintaining a sharp focus on existing client engagement. You’ll support and coach your team while collaborating closely with other senior leaders on client strategy.
Developing client relationships and being invested in winning new clients will also fall into your remit. We don’t need you to be a BDM but confident pitching and spotting an opportunity is a must!
Yes, the role has breadth and plenty to keep you busy, but what an opportunity. This is a chance to make a genuine impact, with real autonomy and ownership!
To be considered, you’ll need to demonstrate strengths in the following areas:
- Strategy: Define and oversee long-term strategy and communications plans across a diverse client portfolio.
- Client Counsel: Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing insight and strategic thinking that goes beyond day-to-day execution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with design, digital and web teams to deliver integrated, holistic solutions.
- Leadership: Develop and coach your team and the people around you. Set goals, inspire high performance and drive results.
- Growth: Identify gaps in client plans and proactively offer solutions to fill them. Contribute to proposals, pitches and wider business development activity.
- Hands-On Delivery: While this is a senior leadership role, the team still needs your expertise in the day-to-day. This is a role for someone who is happy to stay close to the work and remain hands-on when needed.
