We are looking for self‑motivated individuals who can work well as part of a team. The central role will be to provide a professional On‑site Hose Replacement Service to Pirtek customers and to be part of a 24‑hr ‘on‑call’ rota with other franchise technicians.
The day‑to‑day management of a Mobile Sales and Service Unit (MSSU) includes:
- Maintaining sufficient stock levels within the MSSU as per a franchise‑supplied stock list.

To provide assistance to Centre staff within the franchise when requested. To attend Pirtek training courses as requested by management. Good personal presentation and adherence to Pirtek policies and procedures.
The candidate is expected to maintain the highest levels of health and safety practice including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment where applicable.
Basic mechanical knowledge, good manual dexterity and physical ability, good communication skills both orally and in writing, and the ability to present yourself in a professional and courteous manner to customers and staff are essential. The ability to work unsupervised and within time constraints, and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to engineering personnel are also required.
Successful completion of the Pirtek Induction and Training programmes (based in Birmingham) and subsequent on‑site assessments as requested by management is necessary.
