Location: Northampton

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative support to the franchise principal
  • Answer phones and assist the Centre Manager in controlling and directing mobile engineers and vans
  • Maintain a well‑presented appearance and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required
  • Assemble hydraulic hoses to customer requirements
  • Assist with stock control, ordering and product sourcing
  • Proactively sell to existing and new customers to meet and exceed sales and margin targets, while building and developing the customer base at the branch
  • Ensure accurate and regular order entry to minimise delay between receipt of order and dispatch of goods, thereby maximising sales and stock turnover
  • Log and process jobs through the Pirtek IT system
  • Pro‑actively promote Pirtek products and services to walk‑in customers
  • Operate the day‑to‑day sales counter area, keeping it clean, presentable, well stocked and merchandised at all times
  • Actively promote Pirtek products and services to Trade Counter customers
  • Abide by terms and conditions in your Employment Contract and Confidentiality Agreement

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a technical or engineering environment is advantageous but not essential
  • GCSE in English and Maths
