Pirtek are a nationwide network of hydraulic hose professionals, helping to keep businesses from every sector moving, minimising operational downtime throughout the UK and Ireland.
We are seeking an outgoing and competitive MST (mobile service technician) Servicing on site hydraulic hose and component repairs in Docklands and the surrounding areas. Must be self-motivated and able to work well as part of a team. We would prefer experience in a mechanical, plant, tyre fitting or engineering background, but will offer full training for the right person. You will need to hold a full driving licence.
This is an excellent opportunity to get a foot in the engineering industry where there is the potential for ongoing training in the hydraulic field. This position would suit somebody who has a can do attitude, can problem solve and will always seek to find a solution.
You will be receive company uniform , van and iPhone and first year earnings you should expect to earn approx. 30 -40k which is made up of salary and bonus , there is also plenty of opportunity for overtime.

The central role will be to provide a professional On-site Hose Replacement Service to Pirtek customers. This role will include being part of a 24 hr ‘on-call’ rota with other franchise technicians.
The day to day management of a Mobile Sales and Service Unit (MSSU) to include:
- Maintaining sufficient stock levels within the MSSU as per a franchise supplied stock list.
- Performing routine maintenance checks in accordance with the MSSU defect checklist
- Ensuring the MSSU is kept clean and tidy inside and outside
- Managing all Pirtek supplied documentation within the MSSU including technical and procedural updates
To provide assistance to Centre staff within the franchise when requested
To attend Pirtek training courses as requested by management
Good personal presentation and adherence to Pirtek policies and procedures
Candidates will be expected to actively promote Pirtek products and services to existing and prospective customers throughout their given territory.
The candidate is expected to maintain the highest levels of health and safety practice including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment where applicable
- Ideal person to have plant or motor trade background or experience with hydraulics
- Work experience in a technical/engineering environment essential
