Job Scope
Reporting to the OE Sales Director, and as a key member of the OE Sales team, the OE Sales Manager will be responsible for helping to support and manage OE customers, in terms of relationships, stock, service provision, financial data, reporting and potential new developments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Market coverage tool management.
- Take ownership and responsibility for key customer outcomes and results.
- Create a good communication environment both internally and externally.
- Manage the CRM process and data entry for OE and attend the weekly/monthly meetings.
- Liaise with R&D and Quality to manage timelines and customer requirements.
- IATF and PWC Audit management.
- Manage product update and description changes due to legislation changes/updates such as ECE updates.
- Customer satisfaction monitor – monthly check, agree dispute with customer.
- ICP Meeting and stock availability management.
- Attendance at customer meetings – both commercial and R&D meetings.
- Manage Market Share data for Milan submissions.
- Strengthen the commercial performances and relationships through a 360° consultation/advisory approach.
- Provide customers with precise information.
- Sales negotiations with customers.
- Collect relevant customer information and insight in order to update internal customer base records, utilising CRM if applicable.
Required Qualifications and Aptitudes
- Education: Degree level education essential (business related degree highly desirable).
- Experience: Experience in a customer facing role within a large commercial environment (essential).
- Experience within the tyre/automotive industry (essential).
- Understanding and experience in sales and market analysis (essential).
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Flexible approach to work, adaptable to change and able to work under pressure.
- Able to demonstrate sound understanding of financial acumen (eg P&L, GM% etc).
- Able to demonstrate analytical skills (understanding and interpreting information).
- Ability to organise workload, be self-motivated to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Ability to work alone on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, able to successfully negotiate and influence.
- Resilient in approach.
- Solution focused.
- Able to develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Good IT knowledge and skills, to include Excel.
- Able to drive with full driving licence.
- Flexibility to travel and stay overnight when required.
Salary and Benefits
Salary for this role will be £53k - £55k, depending upon qualification, skills and experience. Employee benefits include:

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week over 5 days.
