Pirelli Tyres, one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers, is seeking a Graduate Trackside Engineer to join its renowned Motorsport team. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Pirelli Motorsport team, supporting a wide range of motorsport events and contributing to all aspects of tyre engineering. Applicants must have unrestricted passport eligibility and be prepared for frequent travel.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for motorsport, strong practical ability, excellent problem-solving skills, and the capacity to interpret complex data and assess physical cases accurately.

Role Responsibilities
  • Analyse and interpret race data on behalf of Pirelli and assigned motorsport teams, driving continuous improvement of the brand.
  • Produce clear, accurate, and timely technical reports.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail and resilience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Understand how the Engineering function aligns with other motorsport roles (Fitters, Logistics, R&D, etc.) and collaborate effectively at all times.
  • Work as a proactive and effective member of the Engineering team and, when required, with wider Pirelli Motorsport teams.
  • Take initiative in identifying and solving problems through statistical analysis and regular communication with colleagues, line managers, and race team representatives.
  • Identify and undertake relevant training and development activities to enhance your performance and support your long-term career growth.
Essential Criteria
  • A relevant engineering or motorsport-related degree.
  • Previous experience within a motorsport environment.
  • Full right to work in the UK and the ability to travel worldwide without restrictions.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MATLAB.
  • Willingness to undertake substantial international travel.
