Pirelli Tyres, a global leader in high-performance tyre manufacturing, is seeking a Graduate Motorsport Trackside Engineer to join its Motorsport team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of international motorsport, providing hands-on trackside support and contributing to tyre performance analysis across a range of prestigious racing championships. Based in Didcot, Oxfordshire, with extensive travel across the UK and internationally, this role offers unrivalled exposure to elite motorsport environments and real-time engineering decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret race and tyre data to support performance improvements
- Produce clear, accurate, and timely technical reports
- Provide professional trackside engineering support during race events
- Collaborate with internal teams including Fitters, Logistics, and R&D to ensure smooth operations
- Apply data analysis and engineering judgement to solve performance-related challenges
- Build strong working relationships with race teams and internal stakeholders
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proactively engage in training and development to enhance technical skills
About You
- Degree in a relevant engineering or motorsport discipline
- Experience within a motorsport environment (placement, internship, or team involvement)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and MATLAB
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passionate about motorsport and trackside engineering
- Willing and able to travel extensively worldwide
