This is a rare opportunity to be part of a global team that is building something extraordinary. Music and tech are central to our mission of empowering artists and creators to succeed.

Here at Pirate, our Studio Cleaners form an integral part of our on the ground customer facing staff. Working early mornings and weekends, you will be making sure that the site is clean, presentable and ready for our artists' sessions. This is a part time role of 10hrs per week worked across early mornings on a Monday-Friday. This role would suit someone that is looking for something to fit around other life commitments.

Your day to day will assist with cleaning and re-setting studios, toilets and communal facilities and will also support our Studio Assistants and Site Managers by reporting any issues with the facilities they encounter whilst completing their day to day duties. It's essential you have a strong positive work ethic and are happy to go the extra mile to ensure the site is clean and tidy.

What you'll be working on:

  • Cleaning and re-setting studios and equipment to ensure the rooms are always ready for each customers’ session. This may involve meeting customers, collecting rubbish and re-setting rooms between bookings, as well as making the site presentable at the start of each day.
  • Making sure the kit is clean and presentable and reporting any breakages or suspected faulty equipment and/or potential facilities issues to the Site Manager.
  • Cleaning and restocking toilets, communal areas and corridors.
  • Making sure that the entrance, signage and walkway to the studio is kept clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Keeping staff cupboards and work areas tidy, organised and safe at all times.
  • Follow regular stock control procedures to ensure on site stock of cleaning consumables is always accurate and regularly replenished.

We’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred, but not essential.
  • Attention to detail is crucial. We value diligence and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to handle cleaning equipment and possess good physical stamina.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with varying levels of noise.
  • Ability to work independently using initiative.
  • Knowledge of COSHH is desirable.

What’s in it for you?

  • An annual salary of £6,349.20 for 10 contracted hours per week.
  • Free Studio Hours.
  • 33 days annual leave, increasing to 36 days with length of service (inclusive of bank holidays & pro-rated equivalent).
  • 2 Duvet days – to press the pause button and reset mentally, no questions asked.
  • 4 weeks of fully paid sick leave.
  • 26 weeks of fully paid maternity, adoption and surrogacy leave with a staggered return to work.
  • 8 weeks of fully paid paternity leave with a staggered return to work.
  • 8 days fully paid leave for each fertility treatment cycle (IVF).
  • 4 weeks of fully paid Pregnancy Loss leave.
  • Work from anywhere for 30 days a year.
  • 24/7 Virtual GP & EAP.
  • Dental cover.
  • Life insurance, online will writing service & income protection.
  • The YuLife App & Stella subscription.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • Nursery benefit scheme.
