As a crucial part of our team, you'll seamlessly blend two essential roles – ensuring our studios sparkle and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our valued customers. Your dedication will shine through as you handle both pre and post-customer cleaning, resetting studios to perfection, and maintaining the pristine condition of communal areas.
This role will cover our Edinburgh studios across 6 days mostly worked in the morning - so it's important you are an early riser! Offering a part time role of 20 contracted hours with the ability to pick up extra hours ad hoc at our Glasgow studios covering leave.
- Cleaning and re-setting studios to perfection, ensuring they are always ready for each session.
- Thorough cleaning and disinfection of bathrooms, toilets, and restocking consumables.
- Reporting any equipment issues or facility concerns to the Site Manager promptly.
- Assisting with equipment troubleshooting and safe repairs alongside the Site Manager.
- Waste removal and regular deep cleaning tasks.
- Keeping entrances, signage, and walkways clean and presentable.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping communal areas and corridors.
- Working with the customer service team to address room repairs promptly.
- Following stock control procedures for equipment and cleaning supplies.
We’re looking for:
- Cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- Any experience of fixing, adjusting or managing musical equipment is desirable.
- Ability to be flexible and reliable.
- Able to work using their own initiative.
- Be able to prioritise workload and work well under pressure.
- A can do attitude, someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get “stuck in” to issues as and when they arise.
- A passion for music would be great but not required!
