As a crucial part of our team, you’ll seamlessly blend two essential roles – ensuring our studios sparkle and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our valued customers. Your dedication will shine through as you handle both pre‑ and post‑customer cleaning, resetting studios to perfection, and maintaining the pristine condition of communal areas. This role will cover our Edinburgh studios across 6 days, mostly worked in the morning – so it’s important you’re an early riser! Offering a part‑time role of 20 contracted hours with the ability to pick up extra hours ad hoc at our Glasgow studios covering leave.
- Cleaning and re‑setting studios to perfection, ensuring they are always ready for each session
- Thorough cleaning and disinfection of bathrooms, toilets, and restocking consumables
- Reporting any equipment issues or facility concerns to the Site Manager promptly
- Assisting with equipment troubleshooting and safe repairs alongside the Site Manager
- Waste removal and regular deep cleaning tasks
- Keeping entrances, signage, and walkways clean and presentable
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping communal areas and corridors
- Working with the customer service team to address room repairs promptly
- Following stock control procedures for equipment and cleaning supplies
Requirements
- Cleaning experience preferred but not essential
- Any experience of fixing, adjusting or managing musical equipment is desirable
- Ability to be flexible and reliable
- Able to work using own initiative
- Be able to prioritise workload and work well under pressure
- A can‑do attitude, someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and get "stuck in" to issues as and when they arise
- A passion for music would be great but not required!
