Job Overview: Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Senior Product Development Scientist to join our dynamic team in Morpeth. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical contact for client communications and lead the execution of projects related to formulation development, tech transfer, scientific data analysis, and the manufacturing of registration batches and clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary product development representative for Piramal projects, ensuring seamless communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project management and production teams to successfully execute development projects and introduce new products.
- Maintain departmental facilities and records in compliance with cGMP standards, ensuring all equipment and procedures meet regulatory requirements.
- Conduct experiments to enhance the understanding of products and support their development, validation, and registration.
- Generate and review data and reports to ensure all R&D activities adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols.
- Act as a secondary Subject Matter Expert (SME) during regulatory and customer audits as well as technical meetings regarding clinical trials and tech transfer manufacturing.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships across departments, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and teamwork.
- Stay current with advancements in pharmaceutical sciences, particularly related to oral dosage forms, to drive innovation within the organisation.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Significant experience in pharmaceutical product development within a cGMP environment.
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and Quality Management Systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
