At Piramal Pharma Solutions, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Engineering professional to help maintain and improve our HPS plant and equipment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring assets operate safely, efficiently, and in line with qualified status, business needs, and design intent.
You’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager and work as part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities- Maintain, monitor, and continuously improve engineering systems and documentation to ensure compliance with Business, Company, ESH, cGMP, and Engineering standards.
- Maximise plant and equipment availability by effectively planning, organising, and prioritising your workload, and coordinating contractor maintenance when required.
- Procure and manage spare parts to optimise equipment uptime while controlling maintenance costs.
- Lead and support plant improvement initiatives and minor/major projects, acting as the project plant representative where required.
- Assist with equipment definition, specification, installation, and operational qualification.
- Create, update, and gain approval for controlled maintenance documentation linked to projects.
- Apply strong technical expertise within your core trade, with a solid understanding of other engineering disciplines.
- Develop specialist knowledge in plant and equipment maintenance and provide practical solutions to technical challenges on the shop floor.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, while taking ownership and accountability for individual, team, and business targets.
- Strong knowledge of safe working practices (Permit to Work, RA/MS, LOTO).
- A proactive self-starter who can also thrive in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to work to schedules and meet deadlines.
- Confident in interpreting P&IDs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ability to mentor and support junior team members.
- Sound understanding of engineering standards and best practices.
