The Infrastructure Analyst will design, implement, and maintain IT and OT infrastructure solutions to support business and manufacturing operations, ensuring resilience, security, and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain IT and OT infrastructure solutions for business and manufacturing operations.
  • Design and implement resilient networks, server environments, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Support/Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, minimising production disruption.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency and security.
  • Provide 3rd-line support for complex technical issues across IT and OT systems.
  • Ensure maximum uptime of critical business and manufacturing systems.
  • Proactively monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot networks, servers, and security appliances.
  • Maintain strong disaster recovery and backup strategies for business continuity.
  • Use ServiceNow or equivalent for incident recording, updating, and management.
  • Implement and maintain GxP-compliant IT infrastructure within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Ensure compliance with CFR Part 11 and data integrity requirements across all IT/OT systems.
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices, including network segmentation, vulnerability patching, and Zero Trust principles.

Competencies

  • Infrastructure & Virtualisation: strong understanding of VMware vSphere8+ / ESXi or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
  • Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003‑2022, Windows Desktop 95‑11, basic Linux administration (RedHat, Ubuntu).
  • Networking & Security: Cisco LAN, WAN, VLANs, routing & switching; enterprise firewall technologies (PaloAlto, Cisco ASA, Watchguard, or similar) and network segmentation and security best practices.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Veeam Backup&Replication, disaster recovery planning, high‑availability solutions.
  • Database & Application Support: Microsoft SQL Server (2000‑2022), Oracle Database (various versions), PostgreSQL/MySQL.
  • General IT Expertise: Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, SAN/NAS/Fibre Channel/iSCSI storage solutions, HPE Synergy infrastructure/Nimble Storage, patch and vulnerability management.
