Role Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Video & Social Media Content Creator to develop short-form videos that capture real-world stories from individuals who narrowly missed out on opportunities. Your work will raise awareness of Pipped’s mission, engage new audiences, and support community growth across TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts.
Key Responsibilities
- Story Capture: Approach and interview members of the public to gather authentic “second-place” experiences.
- Production & Editing: Record high-quality footage (smartphone or camera) and produce compelling 30-60 second videos, incorporating captions, graphics, and sound design.
- Publishing & Engagement: Schedule posts, monitor performance metrics, and refine content based on audience insights.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all output reflects Pipped’s professional, optimistic tone and visual guidelines.
- Content Development: Contribute ideas for new video formats, campaign concepts, and social media initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience creating short-form video content for TikTok/Reels/Shorts (portfolio required).
- Confident conducting on-camera interviews and engaging with members of the public.
- Proficient with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of platform algorithms, hooks, pacing, and captioning.
- Reliable recording equipment and willingness to travel locally for filming.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage projects independently.
- Desirable: motion-graphics skills, social copywriting experience, or prior work in employer-branding content.
