A fast-growing tech company applying cutting-edge machine-learning to real-world R&D challenges is looking for a Front-End Developer to help expand its flagship data-driven web application. You’ll join a collaborative engineering team working closely with product and ML specialists to deliver intuitive, high-performance user experiences.
What you’ll do
- Build, test and maintain React components in TypeScript, using TailwindCSS for utility-first styling and react-query for data synchronisation.
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible front-end features.
- Optimise application performance, usability and visual polish.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing (Jest / Playwright) and CI pipelines.
- Collaborate with back-end engineers (Python/REST API) and domain experts to ship new functionality rapidly.
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years’ professional experience developing React applications.
- Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests.
- A keen eye for design detail and its impact on user experience.
- Self-motivation, analytical thinking and clear communication.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or similar (2:1 or above).
- Familiarity with Figma (or similar) and translating designs into code.
