Essence of the Role (Role’s Purpose):
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand campaign strategies, driving new product communication plans, and overseeing public relations efforts. This role will lead the creation and implementation of engaging, effective messaging for Renew Life, Rainbow Light, Neocell and Natural Vitality brands, ensuring consistency across all channels and platforms. The Marketing Communications Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to elevate the presence and strengthen our positioning in the market.
Recipe for Success (Responsibilities):
- Brand Campaign Strategy Development: Lead the design and execution of strategic, integrated brand campaigns that align with overall business goals. Manage the creative direction and ensure campaigns are on-brand, on-budget, and deliver measurable results. Ensure that all communications reflect the company\’s commitment to quality and consumer wellness.
- New Product Communication Plans: Develop and implement communication strategies for new product launches, ensuring clear, compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences. Collaborate with education, marketing operations, sales, and digital teams to coordinate launch timelines and promotional activities.
- Content Creation and Oversight: Manage the creation of high-quality written content for all marketing channels, including digital, print, social media, and advertising. Ensure copy reflects brand voice, maintains consistency across all platforms, effectively communicates key brand messages and resonates with both B2B and B2C audiences.
- Public Relations Strategy: Oversee PR efforts to enhance brand visibility across the natural channel. Develop press releases, media and influencer kits, and key messaging for various audiences. Cultivate relationships with key journalists, influencers, and stakeholders to secure media coverage.
- Campaign Performance & Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, PR efforts, and product communications. Provide insights and recommendations to improve future initiatives.
- Brand Consistency & Messaging: Ensure that all marketing communications materials are on-brand, consistent in messaging, and support the brand’s strategic objectives. Regularly update and enforce brand guidelines.
- Events and Trade Shows: Develop and execute communication strategies for various education events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities to enhance brand presence at industry and consumer events.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of communication strategies across all touchpoints. Coordinate with creative, design, and production teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Team Leadership & Management: Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the marketing communications team. Oversee the development and training of copywriters, ensuring high-quality performance and collaboration.
- Natural Products Industry Expertise: Stay informed about trends and innovations in the natural products space, including retail trends, consumer preferences, product categories, and competitive landscape.
Ingredients Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must
- 2-4 years in a marketing or communications role or past internships
- Experience in planning, delivering, and measuring results
- Proactive personality and careful attention to detail
- Ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines while remaining flexible and able to pivot when priorities change.
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in the natural products industry is a plus
