What is our summer analyst?

We are currently seeking driven individuals with an interest in finance to join our growing energy, power and infrastructure team as a summer analyst, fully embracing the collaborative, demanding, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment of a junior banker in investment banking.

Applicants should be in their third or fourth year of a relevant undergraduate degree, graduating in 2026 or 2027 in one of the following courses: accounting & finance, finance, economics, business management and international business (financial aptitude is essential).

Your role

  • Assist in the preparation of client materials
  • Gather and synthesise quantitative and qualitative data
  • Conduct industry and company specific research and financial analysis
  • Contribute to financial modelling and valuation analysis
  • Project administration and due diligence
  • Assist in the preparation of teasers, confidential information presentations, management presentations and other investor materials

The successful candidates will kick off their journey with comprehensive classroom training at the Piper Sandler London office.
