Piper Maddox is partnering with a leading international EPC that is expanding its UK delivery team to support the successful execution of a nationwide project portfolio, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. The business has delivered over 4 GW of projects across more than 20 countries and continues to build an exciting future pipeline. They are now looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of a CAD Design Engineer.
Location: Farnborough (Hybrid)
- Preparing technical design and engineering documentation for PV projects
- Creating topographic layouts, water management plans, module layouts, string plans, and substructure plans
- Preparing construction details such as overall layouts, earthwork plans, earthing plans, and foundation plans
- Working on the design and visualisation of PV systems using AutoCAD (Civil 3D), PVcase, and PVSyst
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related subject
- 3 years of relevant engineering experience
- Good understanding of PV system planning on the AC and DC side
- Strong experience with AutoCAD and knowledge of PVSyst and PVcase
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong time management and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
