We’re recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing player in the EV charging and energy infrastructure space, looking to appoint a Technical EV Business Development Manager. This is a commercially focused role for someone who understands the technical realities of EV infrastructure and can confidently engage senior stakeholders especially in the reseller and distribution space.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across EV charging infrastructure (AC, DC, rapid & ultra-rapid)
- Lead commercial discussions while confidently addressing technical considerations such as:
- Grid capacity & DNO constraints
- Load management and futureproofing
- Civil works, power requirements, and site feasibility
Qualifications
- Proven experience in EV charging, energy, power, or infrastructure sales
- Strong understanding of EV charging technologies and grid considerations
- Ability to translate technical constraints into commercial solutions
- Track record of winning and developing B2B clients
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with DNO applications, load calculations, or site feasibility
- Exposure to OZEV, public sector frameworks, or grant-funded projects
- Background in construction, utilities, renewables, or energy services
