Within the current changing landscape of UK renewable energy development amidst grid reform processes, stability is a key factor when considering new options. This company has excellent investment from one of the top backers in the sector, as well as a robust, multi-GW pipeline of Solar, BESS, and Onshore Wind projects.
Our client has a presence in three continents and specializes in taking projects from inception, through development, into delivery/construction, and operating the completed asset. You can rest assured that you will see your projects come to fruition as they remain in-house throughout the project lifecycle. Working within an IPP will allow you to contribute to a wide range of project matters in development but also in handing over to delivery.
They are looking to hire a Senior Development Manager to join the team and lead on driving their projects through the development phase. This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional in renewable energy project development to take on a high level of influence and responsibility over projects within a hugely stable environment where you can focus on projects with the peace of mind that comes with world-class funding.
Your role would surround the coordination of key project development pillars: Land, Grid, Planning, as well as ensuring project feasibility. You would be crucial in maintaining project viability both as a development, but also on the more commercial budget and timeline matters. You would also be responsible for managing handover to the delivery side of things, liaising with internal development and engineering teams, as well as managing external consultants and representing this company in public consultation forums.
