Senior Development Manager – Commercial
London Office Location – 2/3 days per week
Salary Range Dependent on Candidate Experience: £80,000 – 90,000
Piper Maddox are currently partnering with an international leader in the development of renewable energy. Our client have been a driving force in the industry for over 15 years and the UK arm of the business is one of the core territories looking ahead.
This company have an excellent track record in the development, construction, and operation of large scale Solar & BESS projects as a fully fledged IPP. Crucially, they have the demonstrable evidence of success in the full project lifecycle and are one of the most reputable names globally.
In terms of pipeline, this company have an excellent portfolio of projects that received positive notification results in the Gate2 process. Pairing this with strong funding, our client are a very stable proposition amidst all of the grid reform changes.
With clarity still filtering through in terms of connection dates, our client see a great opportunity to expand their portfolio, alongside existing development efforts. The aim to achieve this with the hire of a Senior Development Manager who has a blended skillset across project development and commercial acumen.
Key requirements include:
> Project Development experience, leading projects through key land, grid, and planning milestones towards the RTB stage.
> Experience in contributing to extensive due diligence on a project's viability when assessing project acquisition opportunities.
> Strong financial modelling experience in terms of running the model, forecasting revenues, and maintaining detailed project models.
> Experience in key investment decisions for project progress, managing project budgets & timelines, alongside the core project development responsibilities.
An ideal background would be someone who has a demonstrable track record in either buy or sell side M&A transactions, alongside a grounding in project development experience.
