Piper Maddox are currently working with a well-established name in the renewable energy sector with key growth in their project development team. Our client has been around for over a decade and has a strong track record in the development and delivery of a variety of renewable energy technologies.
This company is a fully fledged IPP taking projects from inception through to asset operation for large scale Solar and Onshore Wind projects across the UK. They have a demonstrable track record in achieving the full project lifecycle, and paired with excellent funding, you can rest assured you will see your projects come to fruition.
Our client is currently looking to hire a Senior Project Developer who will take charge of a crucial joint venture within the company portfolio. Our client has a long-term partnership with a significant estate that supports extensive renewable energy schemes on their land.
This role takes on the responsibility of leading on this JV in terms of progressing these projects through development and on into the handover to construction and eventual operation. In this role, you would get the opportunity to take ownership over a diverse portfolio of renewable energy assets, meaning this position requires a high level of autonomy within projects.
- Overall land strategy and management including tenant liaison, negotiating wayleaves & easements, as well as cable routing matters.
- Securing key planning and environmental consents within the Scottish planning framework including EIA processes.
- Overall development project management of key land, planning, and grid milestones through to the RTB stage before overseeing smooth transition into construction.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in managing full portfolios of multiple projects to join up with a very ambitious organization that has excellent funding and a very strong board in support.
For this role, we are looking for candidates with 5+ years of industry experience in the development of onshore wind, solar, or re-powering projects.
