Piper Maddox are exclusively supporting an energy storage platform with a rapidly expanding portfolio of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) assets. The business currently has more than 150MW of projects under construction or secured under exclusive acquisition agreements. Their strategic objective is to develop at least 500MW of operational BESS capacity, establishing the platform as a significant contributor to the UK's energy transition and a leading player in the energy storage market.

Owned by its management team alongside a leading renewable infrastructure investment platform, and backed by a private equity infrastructure investor with approximately €1 billion of assets under management.

They are looking for professionals with extensive experience in the utility scale BESS space in the UK, with whole project lifecycle understanding from development through to operation and maintenance with demonstrated experience in procurement and strong commercial acumen, as well as contracting, and risk allocation.
