Piper Maddox are working with a global player in the Renewable Energy industry to grow out their UK team. They have significant presence in over 15 different international territories and have been a mainstay in the sector for over 20 years. On a global scale, they have over 30GW in their overall pipeline (development and construction phases). In the UK, they have three office bases and this position would be based out of their English office location.
The business model in the UK is a mixture of full project development and construction, as well as project sale when projects reach the RTB stage. This is for a range of Solar, Onshore Wind, and BESS developments.
They are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Project Development Manager to come onboard to play a leading role in the development of their pipeline. You will also have the opportunity to act as a mentoring leader for more junior members of their development team.
Your role would surround the Project Management of utility scale developments from inception, through to the RTB stage - resulting in either handing over to construction, or into project sale. You will be responsible for coordinating the origination of potential new land & project opportunities, managing the planning application process with external consultants, ensuring project feasibility both commercially and financially, as well as managing the liaison between these different project aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to play a leading role in the development of clean energy projects. This company has a nice balance of having a streamlined team in the UK with a tight knit and collaborative culture, while being a part of a large international organization with good market stability.
If you have between 3 & 5 years of project development experience dedicated to the renewable energy sector, this could be a good fit for you, so apply to learn more!
