Piper Maddox are pleased to be exclusively supporting a long standing client of ours with a key addition to their project development function working on Solar, BESS, and Wind projects. They are also looking to add a datacenter offering in addition to their core renewable energy focus.

This company has been a presence in the industry for over a decade and has really kicked on in recent years, establishing themselves as a true market leader and developing one of the top pipelines in the UK.

As a fully fledged IPP, this company has a great track record in the development and delivery of Solar, BESS, and Onshore Wind assets. Our client secured strong results from the Gate2 notifications process and with excellent funding, are one of the most stable names in the sector.

They are currently looking to hire an experienced DCO Development Manager who will be responsible for leading on the development of their NSIP portfolio. The ideal level of experience for this role is at least 5+ years in this type of project. Full management of the DCO lifecycle from end to end is crucial in this role.

Experience required for this role includes:

  • Demonstrable track record in working on DCO projects within ideally the renewable energy sector but other industries could be applicable.
  • Experience in managing external consultants throughout the project lifecycle on matters such as grid, planning, and environmental considerations.
  • Full DCO process experience including management of the land parcel, submission into planning, and management of the project into the examination phase.
  • Excellent background in public consultation and managing statutory consultees throughout the process.

In this role, you would be joining up with an excellent team who strike the crucial balance of a strong collaborative culture, as well as delivering outstanding project results. This position would also have a great progression route up to DCO Lead in the future.
