We’ve partnered with a leading consultancy, working across multiple sectors on a really exciting hire. This position sits right at the heart of the technical team, working closely with the power systems, grid & networks team. The group is on a mission to become a global leader in sustainability solutions. For this mission, they have now gained global offices, providing lots of different technical services within this sector. This position sits with the renewable energy consultancy arm, that works across on & offshore wind, solar, BESS and Power-To-X projects.
This group was a stand-alone team, but has now gained impressive funding from the wider organisation which has allowed them to grow significantly through the last few years. This has seen them look at new technologies too. As they are a consultancy, they work on various technologies and with various players in the industry, really meaning no 2 days are the same!
We’re looking for somebody with a background in the following:
- Technical skills in power systems modelling, feasibility studies and regulatory assessments.
- Offering expert advice on UK grid regulations and grid code compliance.
- Liaising with DNOs, TSO and NESO for grid offers on behalf of customers.
- Supporting clients on their grid connection agreements and negotiations.
- Supporting junior engineers in their learning and development in this field.
