A growing developmentplatform working across the UK, concentrating on Battery Energy Storage projects, is looking for a crucial addition to their internal development team. You\’ll be joining an existing and established development team, taking a more technical position with the group.

The company themselves are a nimble & agile group, delivering high quality projects to ready to build stage currently. They are a well backed company, with this role being within their development platform of the group. They also have an investment segment to the group that allows them to facilitate and solve new challenges the industry faces. Due to this strong backing, the group is also looking at developing their structure into asset ownership and operation in the future also.

They have a proven track record, over the last 4 years, delivering high quality projects to build and deliver services. They have worked on several transactions over this time, scheduled to be energised later this year. Their plan is to grow over the coming years, to continue their mission of decarbonisation of the power sector.

They have existing pipeline for this position to manage, but you\’d also be looking at growing their portfolio out and growing this pipeline.

The main responsibilities to this role include:

• Build, maintain and establish relationships with Distribution Network Operators and TSO for connection agreements. Regularly liaising with these bodies for connection agreements.
• Managing grid connection applications across all interfaces.
• Develop grid connection strategies through reforms. Staying on top of industry changes and developments as well as attending networking events and seminars.
• Ensuring projects hit major milestones.
