We've partnered with a leading consultancy, working across multiple sectors on a really exciting hire. This position sits right at the heart of the technical team, working closely with the power systems, grid & networks team.

The group is on a mission to become a global leader in sustainability solutions. For this mission, they have now gained global offices, providing lots of different techncial services within this sector. This position sits with the renewable energy consultancy arm, that works across on & offshore wind, solar, BESS and Power-To-X projects.

This group was a stand alone team, but has now gained impressive funding from the wider organisation which ahs allowed them to grow significantly through the last few years. This has seen them look at new technologies too.

As they are a consultancy, they work on various technologies and with various players in the industry, really meaning no 2 days are the same!

The core of the role includes:

• Leading an existing grid team, as well as being responsible for growing this team and managing through grid reforms.
• Providing techncial expertise and knowledge to clients, internal teams and the grid team for projects.
• Managing and developing grid strategies for connection reforms.
• Regularly liaising with DNOS, NESO and IDNOS for grid connection agreements on behalf of clients.
