Overview: This role sits within the asset function, leading grid-related responsibilities across the portfolio and ensuring full compliance with grid code requirements.
The Role: This position falls within the asset function, working closely with the advisory teams, asset managers and routes to market functions. This role is client facing, working hands on with asset-led grid strategy. The main focus will be to lead all grid-related responsibilities across the asset portfolio and ensure operations comply with grid code requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and enhance the grid strategy for renewable assets in the Asset Management portfolio.
- Monitor and respond to changes in grid regulation, policies, and ancillary services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Route to Markets, Energy networks and other internal and external teams.
- Act as the first point of contact for all grid connection and compliance queries.
What you’ll bring: We are looking for someone skilled and experienced with UK grid codes and ancillary services. Experience working with grid ancillary services and grid asset responsibilities. Understanding of the UK grid network.
