Piper Maddox are representing a key player in the UK renewable energy sector with the hire of a Project Manager into their development team. Having been a mainstay in the market for over five years, and a multi-GW pipeline to work on, this is a very exciting and crucially, stable opportunity for an experienced development manager.

This company takes utility scale Solar and Battery Storage projects from inception through to the RTB stage. They are on a strong run throughout 2024 and into 2025 with multiple planning consents and project successes moving their portfolio forward - you would be contributing to projects at various stages of active development.

At this moment in time, strategy is paramount for the UK renewable energy market. This company have excellent insight into the grid reform situation and with a lot of their projects progressed, their portfolio is well placed to proceed and is protected from potential upcoming changes in the grid connection system.

Your role would surround:

  • Full lifecycle project management of renewable energy developments from the origination phase, through planning, and into the RTB stage.
  • Coordination of internal project teams (Land, Grid, Planning) as well as management of external consultants involved in the development lifecycle.
  • Ensuring project viability throughout the project, encompassing commercial, timeline, and financial budget feasibility.
  • Liaison with EPC and Construction partners to take the project on from the RTB stage and into being built out.

Alongside their solid grid reform strategy, this company have a strong and long-standing relationship with their EPC partner, meaning that you can rest assured that you would see your projects be built out.
