We are looking for a highly motivated Construction Manager to join one of the leaders in waste recycling and waste to renewable energy projects, working on Anaerobic Digestion (AD) technology. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional passionate about sustainability and renewable energy to contribute to impactful projects in the biogas industry.
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all phases of construction projects, ensuring work is completed in line with design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and budgetary and scheduling expectations. This role involves direct collaboration with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure on-site safety and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain effective relationships with dairy partners and key project stakeholders.
- Apply industry best practices, methods, and standards across all project phases.
- Provide regular progress updates, strategic insights, and adjustments to stakeholders.
- Manage General Contractors, ensuring project plans are realistic and achievable.
- Track and ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
- Analyze schedule and budget impacts, and implement recovery or acceleration strategies when necessary.
- Oversee cost control, forecasting, invoicing, and overall financial management of the project.
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning.
- Assist in early-stage project planning and development activities.
- Collaborate with business development on proposal reviews and future opportunities.
- Coordinate with the procurement team and external vendors for owner-procured equipment.
- OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/AED training required.
- 5–8 years of proven experience in Construction Management.
- Proficient in ProCore, Microsoft Office, Adobe/Bluebeam, Navisworks, Google Earth, DocuSign, and Expensify.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on scope, on time, and within budget.
- Experience with RFIs, Submittals, Transmittals, and change order processes.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects and maintaining detailed schedules.
- Advanced skills in document control, blueprint reading, and estimating.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
