London office location – 2/3 days per week office presence

Salary Range DOE: £70,000 – 85,000 + wider package

Piper Maddox are excited to be supporting a top global name in the energy sector with the growth of their team in the UK. With a headcount in the multiple-thousands, and hugely stable funding partners, this company is on a strong upward trajectory and are showing no signs of slowing down in 2025.

Having been founded over 10 years ago, our client cover a wide range of matters within the renewable energy space – including power purchase agreements, C&I client green energy supply, and in the case of this position, full scale project development of renewable energy assets.

Their UK team are a very interesting proposition, giving the team the chance to grow their experience in both large scale Ground Mounted solar farms, but also in the development of Commercial & Industrial Rooftop solar projects. Having Energy Trading and Asset Management functions also in-house allows this company to cover the full lifecycle from inception through to operation and generating revenue.

They are currently looking at adding to their team with a hire into their development team for solar projects. In this role, you would be responsible for:

> Development and Project Management for a mixture of C&I and Utility scale Solar Energy projects with the potential for co-located BESS.

> Managing commercial elements of the project including budgets, timelines, and contract negotiation when it comes to a project reaching financial close.

> New business origination. Landowner engagement and site sourcing for the ground-mounted schemes, and business development and client identification for the rooftop projects.

> Project Management through key planning and environmental consenting processes, managing external consultants and stakeholders where necessary.

This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Development Manager to work on a range of project types and also having a high level of influence over project strategy.
