Working with an industry leading consultancy specialising in several industries including consultancy, advisory and corporate finance.
We're seeking senior candidates across the UK, with ideally a background in advisory, seeking a new position in the consultancy space. The team has 4 main areas across the unit, each contributing to the overall business success.
This role will fall under their major connections team looking after solar, wind, BESS and data centre projects. This role will therefore sit on the infrastructure side of the business, looking after the connection of major projects involved in this area. This division has 2 major areas of focus, how to access the power and how to establish the distribution of this power.
This position will be a blend of the technical work required for grid connections working closely with clients to establish grid connections, acting as the middle liaison between operating bodies such as NESO, and DNOS and clients in the space. You'll need to establish relationships on behalf of the clients in the space to offer advice and support throughout these connection agreements for various assets. The key to this position will be the ability to then convey these highly technical terms and concepts to non-engineering members of the team. You'll need to have strong stakeholder management skills and communication skills here to capture this responsibility. These stakeholders will range from internal teams in the business, including the property and development functions as well as external suppliers.
This is a senior position within the group with the potential to grow a team around this role. Previous experience with leadership would be highly regarded for this opportunity. As this is a senior position in the team, we're also open to various backgrounds of skills. Experience from within other consultancies, NESO, DNOs or advisory companies would also be great for this role.
The company is offering a flexible mode of working, and with regional offices, you'd be able to balance working remotely with in office presence. There is a good support network of other leaders for you to lean on and gain support from in this role too, so you'd have additional assistance here.
This group is a reputable name in the industry offering both breadth and depth in their offerings. Progression routes are available in the company, so this is a great role for somebody ready for that next leap in your career.
