Senior Development Project Manager for Solar & Battery Storage Projects - Renewables Experience Needed. Hybrid Pattern - 2/3 Days in Office & WFH.
One of the most reputable and well-established developers of renewable energy is looking to add a senior figure to their development function. This role will be crucial to not only leading on project strategies but also in terms of being a leading figure in the growing team.
With a strong pipeline of utility scale Solar and Battery Storage projects, as well as a highly experienced team, this company is in a very strong position in 2025. They have had good success with planning approval for their projects so far this week, and with projects in various stages of development, you would be contributing to a wide range of matters.
This planning success has also meant that amidst upcoming regulation changes with Ofgem & NESO, this company’s portfolio is secure post grid reform, making them one of the most stable options in the current UK market. Your role would include:
- The full management of the development lifecycle from inception to RTB
- The coordination of onward processes including EPC partnerships & handover to construction
- Management of external consultants
- Mentoring/management of more junior members of the development team
For this position, prior experience of development management in the renewable energy sector is needed - preferably in Solar and Battery Storage projects.
