NEW OPPORTUNITY – Grid Manager – £65,000 DOE – London (Hybrid)

Piper Maddox is working with a brilliant renewable energy developer who are driving cutting-edge energy projects across the UK. They boast an impressive pipeline of 5GW, and are looking for a Grid Manager to help unlock new opportunity in the market.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of my client’s project pipeline, identifying and securing grid connections for energy storage, renewables, and industrial demand projects. You’ll work closely with industry stakeholders-including DNOs, TNOs, and ICPs-to ensure smooth project development and grid integration.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Identifying prime grid connection opportunities for large-scale energy projects
* Managing applications and agreements to secure and optimize grid access
* Collaborating with legal, engineering, and development teams to drive projects forward
* Keeping up with regulatory changes and industry trends to inform strategy
* Engaging with key stakeholders at industry events and conferences

What You Bring:
* A strong background in energy project development, ideally in grid infrastructure
* Technical knowledge of distribution and transmission grids
* Experience with grid application processes and network planning
* Confidence in liaising with stakeholders to drive successful connections
* A passion for the future of energy and a strategic mindset
