PLS Civil Engineering are an established contractor working on a diverse range of interesting projects up to £10m across the UK, including utilities installations, highways, rail and infrastructure. To support a newly awarded onshore HV ducting and joint bay construction contract we are seeking a Site Agent to join the company on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for managing the staff and subcontractors on site, whilst ensuring the highest levels of health, safety and environmental control. Liaising with the Project Manager you will work to programme, produce RAMS documentation, and attend monthly meetings with the main contractor. You will also ensure diligent cost control working to budget with assistance from the commercial team, making sure any variations are captured.
To be considered for the position you will already be a Site Agent or Senior Engineer looking to take the next step. Ideally you will be degree qualified, though candidates with relevant experience will be considered. However, a background in civil engineering is key. You will hold CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid.
