Overview
PLS Civil Engineering Ltd are looking for an experienced Class 1 or Class 2 Driver to join our team on a long-term infrastructure project running between Hull and Bridlington. This is a secure 2-year project working within a major civils and utilities environment transporting plant, materials, ducting, drainage products and associated equipment using an 8-wheeler flatbed with occasional artic work as required.
Responsibilities
- Driving flatbed 8-wheeler wagon
- Occasional artic work
- Delivering materials and plant between compounds and work fronts
- Assisting site teams with loading/unloading where required
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Working safely within live construction and agricultural environments
- Securing loads correctly in line with transport regulations
Requirements
- Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience with flatbed work
- Experience working within construction/civils environments preferred
- Good attitude and reliability essential
- HIAB experience advantageous but not essential
