PLS Civil Engineering Ltd is a growing civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure and groundworks projects across the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Grab Driver to join our team operating between Hull and Bridlington in East Yorkshire. This is a full-time role working on civil engineering and construction projects, transporting materials such as aggregates, soils, and construction waste, and operating a tipper grab vehicle to assist with loading and delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating an HGV Class 2 tipper grab vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Transporting aggregates, soils, and materials to and from construction sites
  • Operating the grab for loading and unloading materials where required
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining a professional approach when dealing with site teams, suppliers, and the public
  • Completing delivery paperwork and ensuring loads are secure and compliant

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Minimum 3 years' experience operating a tipper grab vehicle
  • Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Experience working within construction or civil engineering environments
  • Good knowledge of transport and road safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
