Experienced Plant / Diesel Fitter
PLS Civil Engineering Ltd is expanding and we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Plant / HGV/ Diesel Fitter/ Mechanic to take ownership of maintaining and supporting our modern Case plant fleet. This is not just a workshop role. You will play a critical part in keeping major civil engineering projects operational across the UK. We are looking for someone proactive, dependable and technically strong who takes pride in high standards of workmanship.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Servicing and repairing heavy civil engineering plant (excavators predominantly Case machines, dumpers, rollers, etc.)
- Maintaining small plant and tools (Stihl saws, wacker plates, generators, etc.)
- Diagnosing hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults
- Attending breakdowns nationwide
- Conducting thorough examinations and inspections
- Managing service schedules and plant records
- Supporting operational teams to minimise downtime
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience as a Plant Fitter / Field Service Engineer / Diesel Fitter
- Confident in fault finding
