We believe it takes great people to create a great product. That’s why our team lives our company values, and we hire based on them, too. Since 2010, Pipedrive has been on a mission to support sales and marketing teams with easy-to-use, powerful tools that make everyday work faster and easier. Today, our cloud-based software is trusted by over 100,000 companies and used in 179 countries. We have grown from a five-person team to a truly international company of over 850+ people, representing more than 50 nationalities, with ten offices distributed across Europe and the US.

At Pipedrive, payments are a core part of how our business operates and how we monetize our product globally. As part of a broader payments transformation program, we’re creating a new Senior Payments Analyst role to establish and own Payments BI — the dedicated analytics capability focused specifically on merchant (pay‐in) payments performance, economics, and optimization. Today, only basic payment data is assembled manually. In this role, you’ll change that. You’ll combine hands‐on merchant payments experience with strong BI and analytics skills to build foundational KPI reporting and monitoring — and, critically, to turn insights into measurable improvements in authorization rates, cost, and customer payment experience. This is a unique opportunity to build a new payments analytics capability from the ground up and have an immediate, visible impact on how payments performance is measured, monitored, and actively optimized.

Your new adventure

  • Establish and own the Payments BI foundations, including core KPIs, dashboards, and reporting focused on merchant pay‐in performance (e.g., authorization rates, conversion, payment method performance, routing outcomes, and payment costs)
  • Source, reconcile, and normalize data across PSPs, payment methods, and internal systems to create a consistent and reliable payments data layer
  • Build reliable, automated monitoring and reporting that enables fast decision‐making and early detection of payments performance issues, through advanced analytics, AI/ML, or third‐party tools
  • Identify optimization opportunities (e.g., routing, retries, payment methods, issuer performance) and proactively drive actions to improve outcomes
  • Act as the central source of truth for payments performance and insights across Pipedrive
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Product, and Payments to define and prioritize the most impactful metrics and initiatives
  • Provide analysis and clear, actionable recommendations to improve PSP performance, customer payment experience, and payment economics
  • Define and execute the Payments BI roadmap, scaling and automating reporting as the business evolves
  • Collaborate closely with central BI/Data and Analytics teams to ensure payments insights are embedded into Pipedrive's broader analytics ecosystem

Does this sound like you?

Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in payments acceptance analytics, BI, or data analytics, with direct experience in merchant (pay‐in) payments environments (e.g., SaaS, subscriptions, e‐commerce, marketplaces)
  • Proven track record of building KPI frameworks and reports that directly improved payments performance (e.g., authorization rates, conversion, cost optimization)
  • Experience working with PSP/acquirer data and multiple payment methods (cards, APMs, direct debit, wallets), and understanding how to reconcile and interpret that data
  • Strong experience in data sourcing, cleaning, and normalization across multiple payments data sources
  • Expert‐level SQL skills and strong experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Solid understanding of cloud‐based data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake)
  • Deep, practical understanding of the payments lifecycle, with emphasis on merchant‐side performance levers (authorization, routing, retries, payment method mix, cost drivers)
  • A hands‐on, ownership‐driven mindset with the ability to translate data into actions and drive measurable impact
  • Close attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice to have (but not sufficient on its own):

  • Experience in fraud, risk, or issuer‐side payments, as long as combined with merchant/pay‐in analytics experience
