Today, our cloud-based software is trusted by over 100,000 companies and used in 179 countries. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced head of procurement to build and lead our global procurement function from the ground up. Reporting to our VP Global Controller, you’ll work closely with teams across finance, legal, accounting and business operations to define and roll out smart, scalable procurement strategies. Your work will help us reduce risk, increase efficiency and drive meaningful cost savings.
Your new adventure:
- Design, document, and implement Pipedrive’s global procurement strategy, policies, and workflows in alignment with industry regulations and ethical sourcing practices.
- Own and execute the end-to-end sourcing, negotiation, and selection process for globally diverse vendors, with a deep focus on SaaS, cloud, and advertising/marketing spend.
- Partner with various departments to review, draft, and negotiate all vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements, favourable commercial terms, and risk mitigation.
- Act as a strategic partner to department heads (e.g., operations, marketing, IT) to understand their business needs, project pipelines, and budgets.
- Proactively analyze all company spend to identify and execute significant cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation, process efficiencies, and negotiation.
- Design and manage the company’s purchase order process, serving as the central point of review and approval for significant expenditures.
- Develop and track procurement KPIs, delivering regular reporting on cost savings, spend analytics, and supplier performance.
- Serve as the company’s primary subject matter expert on all procurement matters, training and enabling business partners on new processes as they are rolled out.
- Establish a supplier relationship management framework to manage performance and build strategic partnerships with critical vendors.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
Does this sound like you?
- At least seven years of experience in procurement, with a focus on SaaS, cloud, advertising and indirect spend in a global environment.
- At least three years of experience in a procurement leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead procurement function in a multi-national, geographically-disbursed environment.
- Demonstrable track record of leading complex negotiations and managing the full contract lifecycle, especially for SaaS, cloud, advertising and indirect spend.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing "procure-to-pay" (P2P) workflows and global procurement policies.
- Solid understanding of procurement software, ERP systems, and spend management tools. (Coupa and NetSuite are preferred).
- Ability to analyze complex spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to secure favourable terms and build win-win partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
