As a Design Director at Pipedrive, you will provide strategic, hands-on leadership to ensure design initiatives drive meaningful business outcomes and create exceptional, intelligent user experiences. You will operate at the intersection of AI-native product innovation, design craft, and executional excellence, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Data to shape the future of how customers experience Pipedrive.

Your new adventure:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive 0-1 product and design strategy aligned with Pipedrive's vision, business goals, and an AI-native product direction where intelligence is intrinsic to core workflows.
  • Ensure design initiatives deliver measurable impact on growth, retention, monetization, and customer satisfaction across AI-native and core product experiences.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Data teams to define how AI models, data, and automation surface value through clear, usable, and trusted experiences.
  • Champion user research, rapid experimentation, and continuous feedback loops to validate AI behaviours, system confidence, and user trust.
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term vision, ensuring AI-driven experiences scale responsibly as products, data, and teams evolve.
  • Provide clear, inspiring leadership, mentoring designers and design managers to grow their craft, product judgment, and fluency in designing AI-native experiences.
  • Lead and grow a team of 11 product designers, building a culture of craft, clarity, and customer obsession.
  • Foster a design-led, AI-native mindset across the organization, shaping how teams think about intelligence, automation, and user value.

Does this sound like you?

  • 12+ years of experience in product design.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing design teams, with a focus on mentorship, performance, and culture-building.
  • A proven track record of shipping zero-to-one products, leading new ideas from concept through to product-market fit.
  • Deep understanding of how AI-driven capabilities can enhance workflows and create real user value.
  • Demonstrated success in aligning design strategies with business goals and driving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a user-centric, data-informed approach, as well as the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Experience balancing vision and execution, turning ambitious ideas into shipped, impactful product experiences.
  • Comfortable operating in high-intensity, startup-like environments while structuring teams to deliver efficiently.
  • Ability to mentor and grow designers, building a culture of craft, curiosity, and customer obsession.
  • Strong product sense, with the ability to translate user insights into actionable, business-relevant design solutions.
