Are you a senior engineer who thrives on owning mission-critical platforms, solving complex real-time problems, and improving reliability at scale? PiPcall is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to take technical ownership of our core telephony platform. This role is best suited to someone with strong Linux systems expertise, solid SIP / VoIP knowledge, and hands-on experience supporting production environments where performance, uptime, and troubleshooting depth really matter.

- Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 18:00
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own and continuously improve PiPcall's Linux-based telephony platform in production
- Design, build, and support real-time voice services using FreeSWITCH and related SIP components
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, resilience, and performance across critical services
- Troubleshoot complex issues across application, operating system, and network layers
- Analyse logs, metrics, traces, and packet captures to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
- Improve monitoring, observability, automation, and operational tooling
- Collaborate closely with engineers working across backend services, APIs, and platform integrations
What We’re Looking For:
- Essential: Strong experience running and supporting Linux production systems
- Essential: Hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, Kamailio, OpenSIPS, or similar SIP/VoIP platforms
- Essential: Solid understanding of SIP, networking, and real-time communications in production environments
- Essential: Strong troubleshooting capability using logs, tcpdump, Wireshark, and system-level diagnostics
- Essential: Scripting experience in Bash plus at least one of Python, Perl, or PHP
- Essential: Comfortable taking ownership, making sound technical decisions, and working effectively in a small engineering team
- Desirable: Experience with cloud infrastructure, automation, observability tooling, or relational databases
