Are you a senior platform engineer who enjoys owning critical systems and solving complex, real-time problems? PiPcall is growing fast and we're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to take ownership of our core telephony platform.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Owning and developing PiPcall's Linux-based telephony platform
- Designing, building, and supporting real-time systems using FreeSWITCH
- Ensuring production systems are reliable, scalable, and performant
- Diagnosing issues across application, system, and network layers
- Analysing logs, metrics, and packet captures
- Improving monitoring, observability, and automation
- Working closely with engineers integrating backend services and APIs
What We're Looking For:
- Strong experience with Linux production systems or similar
- Hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH or other SIP-based systems
- Solid understanding of SIP, networking, and real-time communications
- Confident troubleshooting skills (logs, tcpdump, Wireshark)
- Scripting experience (Bash plus Python / Perl / PHP or similar)
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Comfortable taking ownership in a small, fast-moving team
