PiP Architects is a highly respected, design-led practice based in central Cambridge, delivering a wide range of innovative and distinctive projects across Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. Our work spans from unique one-off homes and exclusive sustainable developments to sympathetic heritage office conversions and much more.
We are currently looking for a Part I or Part II Architectural Assistant to support the delivery of multiple projects across all RIBA work stages. Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the production of planning and technical drawing packages
- Supporting project teams through RIBA stages 1-7
- Using Revit on a daily basis to create models and drawings
- Assisting senior project runners with design development
The skills and experience we are looking for:
- Part I or Part II qualification in Architecture
- Proficiency in Revit including competence to prepare layouts and models
- Ability to develop planning suite drawings by following a brief
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and building regulation requirements
- Basic knowledge of JCT (or similar) contracts and professional obligations
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Aware of design and safety standards
