PIP ANZ (Australia) Pty Ltd – High Wycombe WA. THORZT and Pratt Safety are proud brands within PIP Global Safety, one of the world’s fastest growing providers of industrial safety and PPE solutions. For over 50 years, Pratt Safety has been helping shape worksite safety standards across Australia and New Zealand, while THORZT delivers Australian-made, science‑backed hydration, cooling and performance products designed for people who work hard. Backed by PIP Global’s 40+ years of safety expertise and global reach, we are committed to keeping workers safer, more comfortable and more productive.
About the Role
The purpose of this role is to act as the company’s subject matter expert for a specific product category (THORZT and PRATT), providing deep product knowledge, market insights, and sales support to drive category growth. This role involves training internal and external teams, supporting sales activities, identifying new opportunities, and increasing both market share and sales within the assigned category. Based in Perth, you’ll carry a national remit: WA is your primary hunting ground given the depth of the mining and construction opportunity here, but you’ll be working across all Australian states by phone and face‑to‑face, building pipeline wherever the opportunity exists.
You will represent both THORZT and PRATT Safety, giving you a genuinely powerful dual proposition on every site visit: “keep workers hydrated and performing” with THORZT, and “keep the site compliant and safe” with PRATT’s site safety range. These are products that go to the same customers. You will be supported by the National Brand Manager, National Sales Manager, Category Managers, and the marketing team.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Hunting New Business: Prospecting and qualifying new leads nationally via your own network, the CRM/database, marketing campaigns, and inbound enquiries. Making targeted outbound calls to identify real opportunities. Building a live prospecting list across mining, construction, trade, and industrial safety segments, with WA as your primary focus. Spotting THORZT and PRATT opportunities alongside PIP Global’s PPE and safety products, and recognising when a customer needs one, the other, or all. Identify and visit key end‑users, either directly or in partnership with customers.
- Managing and Growing Key Accounts: Owning existing customer relationships nationally and keeping them warm, growing the basket. Build relationships with decision‑makers and influencers at the end‑user level. Increasing share of wallet across the full THORZT range and PRATT safety product suite. Training distributor and reseller staff so they actually know how to sell both brands, not just stock them. Running joint end‑user calls with distributor reps and the PIP sales team to pull product through the channel.
- Getting in Front of Customers: Face‑to‑face and virtual presentations which are tailored, compelling, and commercial. On‑site product training with end users, site safety managers, and procurement teams. Showcase products to end‑users with the aim of creating demand that drives stocking and purchasing through our customers.
- Keeping the Engine Running: Accurate, daily database/CRM records; pipeline, activity, and opportunities logged without being chased. Weekly sales reporting to the National Brand Manager. Staying sharp on product knowledge across both brands, competitor activity, and market trends.
What You’ll Bring
You don’t need to have sold hydration or site safety products before. You do need to genuinely love sales, be relentless about new business, and bring a high standard for everything you do.
Non‑Negotiables:
- 5+ years’ proven record in Account Management/Business Development ideally within FMCG or wholesale industries (PPE/PPC preferred).
- A genuine, provable track record of winning new business, not just managing it.
- Comfortable holding a room in a boardroom and on a job site equally well.
- Self directed, hungry, and able to work autonomously from a Perth base with national travel.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within WA and interstate.
Highly Regarded:
- Experience selling into mining, construction, or trade channels in WA or nationally.
- Existing network across Australian distributors, site safety managers, or procurement contacts.
- Exposure to selling across multiple brands or product categories simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes.
- Passion for health, performance, or occupational safety.
The Mindset We’re After:
- You’re a contributor, not just an individual performer, you make the team better.
- You don’t wait to be told twice.
- You’re never short of energy or ideas.
- When it matters, you deliver.
So, Why Join Us?
Because most sales jobs are selling something forgettable. This one isn’t. A broader conversation with every customer. Walk onto a mining site and talk hydration, energy, recovery, cooling, and site safety in a single visit. More value delivered, more reasons to keep coming back. WA is your heartland. The mining and construction sectors here are as strong as they get for THORZT. You will have a territory with real runway and the freedom to chase business nationally when the opportunity demands it. The backing of a global safety leader. THORZT sits within PIP Global Safety, 40+ years of industry expertise, world‑class sales tools, and a network that opens doors. You’re not walking in alone. Autonomy without chaos. Clear targets, genuine support, and the freedom to run your patch the way you see fit. You are joining at the right time. New products, new channels, and international expansion. Getting in now means growing with it.
