About Us: We’re reimagining grocery for the modern urban consumer — building a premium, tech-enabled convenience store chain that blends hot food, curated grocery, and digital-first experiences. With bold ambitions, we’re launching our first store this year and need strong technical foundations to scale.
About the Role: We’re looking for a Technical Systems Lead with a builder’s mindset to architect, implement, and own our core technology stack. You’ll take responsibility for our ERP system (Odoo) and ensure it seamlessly connects to our wider ecosystem — POS, payments, inventory, finance, supply chain, and customer-facing tools. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be designing integrations, managing hardware/software connections, building and maintaining databases, and extracting the data needed to power decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own our ERP (Odoo) end-to-end: configuration, optimisation, and integration across supply chain, finance, inventory, and retail operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations with other core systems (POS, payments, loyalty, 3rd-party SaaS, internal dashboards).
- Manage and integrate hardware systems (POS terminals, kiosks, self-checkouts, payment devices, IoT sensors).
- Build and maintain new databases; ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility for operational and commercial use.
- Extract, clean, and transform data from systems and databases for analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
- Automate workflows and data pipelines to reduce manual effort and unlock operational efficiency.
- Support AI-powered use cases such as demand forecasting, reporting automation, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure our technical stack underpins business growth and scalability.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in technical systems or integration roles (retail, FMCG, or QSR environments a plus).
- Strong ERP experience (Odoo preferred) — implementation, customisation, and integration.
- Solid background in systems integration (APIs, middleware, data pipelines).
- Hands-on experience managing hardware/software integrations (POS, kiosks, terminals, IoT).
- Ability to extract and manipulate data for reporting, forecasting, and operational insights.
- Technically fluent and comfortable engaging with engineers, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial and resourceful; thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
Why Join Us:
- Be part of a category-defining retail concept from day zero.
- Build the technical backbone of a national-scale retail business.
- Work alongside a visionary, execution-focused team backed by top-tier investors.
- Influence real-world change in how grocery is experienced in the UK.
