Key Responsibilities of the Senior IT Support Technician:
As a field-based Senior IT Support Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for multiple clients, tackling everything from day-to-day support to infrastructure installations. You’ll work across a range of technologies, helping maintain and grow reliable, modern IT environments.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Proficiency in virtualisation technologies (VMWare or Hyper-V)
- Solid troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Great communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Good understanding of backup practices and device imaging
- Ideally 2–3 years in a technical IT role – preferably with experience in educational environments
Bonus Skills (Desirable, Not Essential):
- Experience with wireless networks (Unifi, Aruba, Meraki)
